Andy Merrill - Golf Instructor

Everyone has a different swing, and I will partner with you and your game. If you are new to golf, I will get you up and running with fun and simple instruction. For experienced golfers, lessons are tailored to the aspects of your game that need improvement to lower your scores.

Fall 2026 marks my 3rd full season as a golf instructor at the Southborough Golf Center, with over 2,300 lessons given since April 2024. In October 2026, I passed the PGA PAT (Player Ability Test), and I’m currently working to complete the remaining curriculum and requirements needed to become a PGA Associate.

After every lesson, you will receive a TrackMan 4 report by email, detailing the 30+ metrics captured each swing during your golf lesson.

The Golf Learning Center is a private environment for golf lessons. Each lesson uses TrackMan 4 swing data and video to supplement instruction and increase learning. Lessons can be outside on the grass tees or indoors. For indoor lessons, you hit from inside the building out onto the driving range. The studio also has 3 silent infrared heaters for golf lessons in late Fall, Winter, and early Spring.

The Southborough Golf Center is only 4 miles from Interstate 495 at 20 Turnpike Rd. Southborough, MA 01772. Heated and covered bays are available. Grass tees and 6 target greens. Open year-round.
